Minsk hosts conclusion of Belarusian stage of Chinese-language competition 'Chinese Bridge'
Belarus holds national qualifying round of prestigious Chinese language proficiency competition — 2026

The Belarusian stage of the international Chinese-language competition "Chinese Bridge" 2026 concluded in Minsk, Xinhua news agency reports.
"Chinese Bridge" is one of the most prestigious international Chinese-language competitions, organized annually by Hanban (International Chinese Language Council) with support from China's Ministry of Education. The competition is open to foreign students and schoolchildren worldwide and is designed to assess participants' Chinese-language proficiency as well as deepen their knowledge of Chinese culture, history, and traditions.
National qualifying rounds take place in dozens of countries, after which winners represent their nations at the final stage in China. The Belarusian round traditionally brings together students studying Chinese at universities and language centers across the country.
The competition reflects the steady development of Belarusian-Chinese people-to-people ties and growing interest among Belarusians in the Chinese language and culture.
