Two electrical equipment factories open in Tokmak and Bishkek
The facilities will produce transformer substations and fittings for power transmission lines — combined capacity of the first phase up to 400 substations per year.
Kyrgyzstan has launched two new factories for producing electrical equipment for the construction and modernization of power grids.
In Tokmak, the "Energorazvitie" plant opened in October. The enterprise implements a full cycle — from technical design to manufacturing and equipment commissioning. In the first phase, the plant will produce up to 400 complete transformer substations and approximately 1,400 insulated crossarms for overhead power transmission lines annually. The equipment is intended for energy infrastructure facilities, industrial enterprises, residential and commercial development, as well as agro-industrial projects. The enterprise employs predominantly Kyrgyzstani specialists.
In Bishkek, "Skat-Pro" began operations. It manufactures fittings for self-supporting insulated wires and cable couplings, necessary for the installation and maintenance of overhead power transmission lines and cable networks.
Both projects have been implemented under an agreement involving the Russian side.
