Japarov Opens 105 Facilities Across Kyrgyzstan on Sovereignty Day

Kyrgyzstan's President Sadyr Japarov attended celebrations marking the country's 35th sovereignty anniversary in Talas and remotely commissioned 105 social and industrial facilities across the republic.

The commissioned facilities included schools, kindergartens, hospitals, factories, and plants. The new capacities are aimed at improving social infrastructure in the regions, developing production, and creating jobs. The celebrations spanned the entire country: facilities were opened simultaneously across different regions of the republic during a single online ceremony, which allowed the festive events to be unified on a nationwide scale.

Ahead of the holiday, on September 11, Japarov attended the opening of Talas's central mosque. On the day of the celebrations proper, the head of state was present at the state flag-raising ceremony at the city's central square, followed by the solemn opening of the facilities. Talas was chosen as the center of the republic's 35th sovereignty anniversary celebrations, reported the Kabar news agency.
