Kyrgyzstan's Prime Minister Adylbek Kassymaliyev inspected facilities in Issyk-Kul region being prepared for the VI World Nomad Games 2026.
In the village of Ornok, Kassymaliyev visited the Kurmanjon Datka Center of Nomadic Civilization, where an international conference — "Nomadic Civilizations: Heritage, Paradigms and Future" — will be held as part of the Games' scientific programme. On the Centre's grounds, 16 sculptural compositions have been installed under the "Legend of the Great Mountains" project, with an additional seven sculptures placed at the museum entrance.
In Cholpon-Ata, the Prime Minister inspected the Gazprom fitness and wellness complex, the Centre for Ethno-Cultural Development, the equestrian sports and pedigree livestock industry centre, the under-construction arena for equestrian competitions, and the Nomad ethno-cultural complex.
At Kyrchyn pasture, construction of an ethno-town continues alongside territorial improvement and infrastructure preparation for the World Nomad Games 2026.
Following the inspection, Kassymaliyev instructed state bodies and local authorities to complete preparatory work within the established deadlines. He demanded special attention be paid to security and landscaping.
