Kyrgyzstan's Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymalieyev transferred more than 50 units of new specialized equipment to the Ministry of Transport and Communications — dump trucks, motor graders, and loaders. The ceremony took place during the professional holiday for automotive transport and road industry workers.

Kasymalieyev announced a multiple increase in sector financing: whereas previously about 2 billion som was allocated annually, in recent years the amount has reached 60 billion som. According to him, updating the vehicle fleet will help improve the quality of road repairs, accelerate construction, and strengthen the material and technical base of the sector.

During the 2021–2025 period, more than 101.7 billion som has been directed to road infrastructure; more than 3,000 km of roads and artificial structures have been built and reconstructed, including 2,453 km with asphalt surface. In 2024, 453 units of specialized equipment were purchased through the state budget; in 2022–2023, another 297 units were acquired.

Separately, the Prime Minister mentioned the construction of the China–Kyrgyzstan–Uzbekistan railway, calling this corridor a source of additional income, jobs, and opportunities for entrepreneurs. During the holiday in an online format, several roads that were built and renovated in regions across the country were officially opened.
