Putin claims end of war in Ukraine is approaching

Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that he believes the war in Ukraine is coming to an end.

However, despite the optimistic remarks from the Russian leader, Ukraine and Russia continue to accuse each other of ceasefire violations. According to various sources, combat operations remain intense across several sections of the front.

Putin's remarks on the resolution of the conflict came against the backdrop of growing international discussions about possible paths to settle the Ukrainian crisis.
