New Air Corridors Opening: Region Witnesses Expanded Tourism Boom
Jordan has joined Gulf states, Israel, and Syria in a major regional initiative encompassing the opening of air corridors, expansion of luxury cruise services, and strengthening tourism connectivity through a trade and infrastructure corridor.

The Middle East is experiencing notable tourism momentum, as Jordan has joined an expanded regional framework comprising the UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Israel, and Syria, in a joint effort to revitalize the tourism sector and enhance mobility between the region's countries.
The initiative rests on three main pillars: first, reopening air corridors and expanding flight networks between major tourist cities such as Dubai, Doha, Riyadh, Amman, and Kuwait City; second, expanding luxury cruise services, which have become an increasingly significant contributor to the regional tourism ecosystem; and third, strengthening tourism connectivity within the framework of the India-Middle East-Europe Corridor project, known as IMEC, which enables greater flow of commercial and tourism activity among participating nations.
These measures reflect an escalating regional trend toward tourism and economic integration that enhances the Middle East's standing as a leading global destination.
