Georgia has significantly tightened its migration policy toward Belarusians. According to Belsat, the country has carried out a record number of deportations and issued 80 entry bans to Belarusian citizens.
The measures are being taken against the backdrop of strained relations between Tbilisi and Minsk. Georgia is de facto closing its borders to Belarusian citizens, which limits their mobility in the region.
