China sees real opportunities for peace in the Middle East

China is convinced there are real opportunities for achieving peace in the Middle East, said Chinese Ambassador to Russia Zhang Hanhui.

The diplomat emphasized that Beijing supports maintaining the ceasefire and continuing negotiations between the conflicting parties. According to him, all parties should exercise restraint and adhere to a political resolution.
