Ukraine Tests AI Turret Against Fiber-Optic Drones

Ukraine has conducted trials of an automated combat system equipped with artificial intelligence designed to counter enemy fiber-optic drones. According to Ukrainian Pravda, the system was tested at positions held by Ukrainian forces.
Fiber-optic drones present a serious threat because they are protected against electromagnetic interference and traditional signal jamming methods. The AI turret is capable of automatically detecting and tracking unmanned aerial vehicles, then engaging them without operator intervention.
This development is part of Ukraine's strategy to deploy advanced technologies on the front line to enhance the combat effectiveness of the Ukrainian armed forces against Russian aggression.
