Ankara operation targets exploitation of foreign women: 47 deported

A large-scale operation targeting entertainment venues in Ankara where foreign women were being exploited has been conducted. In the operation organized by police, 47 foreign women were identified and deportation proceedings were initiated.

As part of the investigation, 29 people were taken into custody. The operation determined that the women had been brought to Turkey illegally and forced to work. The police directorate stated that the suspects would be held responsible for human trafficking and labor exploitation charges.
