Scientists Neutralize Viruses Using Ultrasound Waves

A research team from Sao Paulo University in Brazil has proven in laboratory conditions that ultrasound waves, which are used for imaging in medicine, can neutralize viruses. During experiments, successful results were achieved when coronavirus and influenza viruses were exposed to ultrasound waves.

The research demonstrates that sound waves can disrupt viral structure and eliminate their infectious properties. Scientists note that the findings could be adapted to treatment methods in the coming period.
