Kılıçdaroğlu team takes control of CHP provincial chapter social media accounts

Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu's team, which returned to the CHP General Chairmanship through a court ruling, has begun taking control of social media accounts belonging to party provincial chapters. According to Cumhuriyet newspaper, the accounts of the Ankara, Antalya, and Bolu provincial chapters were among the first accounts to come under the management of Kılıçdaroğlu's team during this process.

Internal tensions within the CHP that began following the party congress election have moved into legal proceedings, and the court's ruling in Kılıçdaroğlu's favor had effectively split the party in two. This move over social media accounts is being read as part of Kılıçdaroğlu's team's effort to consolidate de facto control over party institutions.

The current administration led by Özgür Özel continues to object to the process. It is expected that the legal and organizational struggle between the two sides will take on a new dimension in the coming days.
