Qatar-based R3 Life Wellness Center has signed a strategic partnership agreement with the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) and Qatar Airways. The collaboration aims to strengthen Thailand's position as a medical tourism center in the region and attract patients from the Middle East.
Under the partnership, Qatar Airways will offer direct flights from Doha to Thailand. R3 Life Wellness Center will provide patients with high-quality medical services and wellness programs, while TAT will offer support on tourism infrastructure and promotion.
Package tours are also being planned to allow patients' family members to accompany them and engage in tourism activities. According to one sector analyst, the agreement will reportedly boost Thailand's health tourism revenues and consolidate its regional standing.
