The General Directorate of Meteorology has released its weather report for Saturday, May 9, 2026. According to the report, a strong wind warning has been issued for areas around Düzce, Bolu, and Karabük.
Similar conditions are expected across the northern parts of Ankara and Eskişehir. The Met Office has urged the public to take precautions.
In regions falling under the influence of a passing weather system, wind speeds are likely to reach 40–50 kilometres per hour. Officials advise avoiding open areas and exercising caution when travelling.
