Russia damages 180 sites in latest large-scale Ukraine attack

Russia conducted a large-scale attack across Ukraine that damaged at least 180 sites, including more than 50 residential buildings, President Volodymyr Zelensky said.

At least five people were killed in Kyiv during the assault, which targeted regions both near and distant from active front lines. The attack reflects Russia's continued strategy of striking civilian infrastructure alongside military targets.

The strike comes as Russia intensifies daytime attacks on Ukrainian territory, with Moscow reportedly launching at least 800 drones against Ukraine on Wednesday alone, according to France 24.
