Health Ministry: Three Turkish Citizens to Be Repatriated After Hantavirus Cases Detected on Ship

Turkey's Health Ministry has moved to repatriate three of its nationals following confirmed Hantavirus cases aboard an international cruise ship. The three citizens, who are currently showing no symptoms, will arrive in the country tomorrow and be placed in quarantine.

A ministry spokesperson confirmed that their condition is being closely monitored. Hantavirus is a rodent-borne virus that can cause serious health complications in humans.

The measure is intended to pre-empt any potential public health risk in Turkey. The three nationals will remain under medical observation throughout the quarantine period.
