Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş announced a new 50 million lira program for the protection and support of elderly citizens. Under the Elderly Support Program, known by its acronym YADES, projects prepared by municipalities will be evaluated. The projects planned to receive support aim to improve the quality of life for the elderly population. Municipalities wishing to participate in the program will be able to submit project proposals.
