UAE denies secret Netanyahu visit to emirate

The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs has denied reports of an alleged secret visit by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to the emirate, according to TASS.

The UAE emphasized that its relations with Israel are open in character and are conducted within the framework of the officially announced Abraham Accords. According to the foreign ministry, cooperation is not based on closed or non-transparent channels.

Reports of secret meetings between leaders have circulated in regional media against the backdrop of tensions in the Persian Gulf.
