Humanitarian mission in Aleshki completed: dozens of tons of aid delivered
Russian ombudsperson Yana Lantratova has proposed making humanitarian deliveries to Aleshki monthly following the first operation, mediated by Melania Trump.

A humanitarian operation in Aleshki, Kherson region, took place on October 30: residents of the city were distributed dozens of tons of food, hygiene products, generator fuel, and other essential goods. This was reported by Russian ombudsperson Yana Lantratova.
A ceasefire in the city's area entered into force at 04:00 Moscow time (01:00 GMT) on October 27 — specifically to prepare for and conduct the operation. Russia and Ukraine agreed to a cessation of fire through the mediation of US First Lady Melania Trump.
All those wishing to leave the city were given the opportunity to evacuate — both to Russia and to Ukraine, Lantratova clarified.
Following the operation, the ombudsperson proposed organizing regular humanitarian deliveries — for example, once a month. "We made a request to organize such humanitarian aid on a regular basis, for instance, every month," she told journalists, noting that not all residents of the city are able to leave for various reasons.
Earlier, Lantratova and her Ukrainian counterpart sent a joint appeal to Melania Trump requesting coordination of regular humanitarian missions. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov as early as September 21 called the humanitarian situation in Aleshki critical: according to him, due to Ukrainian shelling and drone attacks, the city could not receive food or medicine.
