Japarov: Hemodialysis center in Kerben will open after sewerage system completion
Kyrgyzstan's president announced the condition for launching the medical facility at a meeting with residents of Aksyisky District.

A hemodialysis center in the city of Kerben in Jalal-Abad Region will be opened only after the sewerage system construction is completed. President Sadyr Japarov stated this on October 24 at a meeting with residents of Aksyisky District.
Thus, the launch of the medical facility is directly tied to the implementation of an infrastructure project in the city. A functioning sewerage system is a mandatory sanitary requirement for the operation of hemodialysis facilities, since blood purification procedures require strict adherence to sanitary and epidemiological standards and stable water supply.
Kerben is the administrative center of Aksyisky District and one of the cities in Jalal-Abad Region that needs development of its medical infrastructure. The opening of a hemodialysis center will allow residents of the district to receive the vital blood purification procedure for kidney failure locally, without having to undertake lengthy trips to larger medical institutions across the country.
Timelines for completing sewerage system construction in Kerben were not announced at the meeting.
