Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said he does not know what the Ukrainian delegation plans to bring to the negotiating table in Abu Dhabi. He made this statement at a press conference following the first day of the G20 foreign ministers meeting in Atlanta.

"I don't know what the Ukrainians plan to put on the negotiating table," Lavrov said, commenting on the possible agenda for a Russia-US-Ukraine meeting in Abu Dhabi.

According to the minister, the actions of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelenskyy are not conducive to resolving the conflict. Lavrov noted that Zelenskyy "continues to boast about receiving an ever-increasing number of long-range missiles," announcing plans to strike Russia as far as Siberia. In his view, such rhetoric does little to aid negotiations preparation.

Earlier, Russian Presidential Aide Yuri Ushakov told journalists that the dates for a Russia-US-Ukraine meeting in Abu Dhabi could be announced by the end of the week. TASS reported these statements following the first day of the forum.
