Besiktas fell to visiting Trabzonspor 2-1 at home in the 33rd round of Turkey's Trendyol Super Lig, adding this loss to a string of negative results the club has suffered in recent weeks.
Sports columnist Melih Satci, in his assessment of the match published by Turkish newspaper Cumhuriyet, described conditions within the club as "continued chaos" at Besiktas, pointing out that the latest defeat again revealed clear shortcomings on both the technical and administrative fronts.
Criticism directed at the club's management by its supporters is intensifying, amid inconsistent performance that has fallen short of the Istanbul club's aspirations.
