Digital Packages Distributed to Schools in Earthquake-Affected Areas

The Access to Technology and Education Foundation (Bilişime ve Eğitime Erişim Vakfı) has launched a field initiative to support schools in areas hit by the devastating earthquake, distributing comprehensive digital packages that include computers and technical equipment to help students continue their educational journey amid the difficult circumstances left by the disaster.

Initial efforts began in Hatay province, one of the hardest-hit areas, where the foundation opened training workshops to equip students and teachers with the skills to use digital tools and integrate them into daily educational processes.

Errol Bilicek, chairman of the foundation's board, said the core objective of this initiative is "to contribute to achieving equal opportunities in education," noting that children in earthquake-affected areas should not bear the cost of the disaster through educational delays or deprivation of access to technology, which has become a fundamental pillar of modern learning.
