The R4 Group — comprising Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Pakistan, and Turkey — announced in a joint statement its full solidarity with Riyadh in countering attacks launched by the Houthi group, and pledged support for all legitimate measures taken by the Kingdom to confront these attacks.

The statement included strong condemnation of the Houthi aggression, particularly the strikes that targeted King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh and resulted in civilian deaths and injuries, as well as damage to civilian infrastructure.

The joint statement described these attacks as a flagrant violation of international law and a direct infringement on the Kingdom's sovereignty and territorial integrity, calling them a dangerous escalation that threatens civilian security and regional stability.

The group affirmed its stand with the Kingdom in deterring the sources of threat and preventing the recurrence of these attacks, within the framework of the United Nations Charter and international law.
