All ten crew rescued after Tanzanian-flagged vessel AS DREAM sinks off Cyprus
Cyprus rescue coordinators retrieved all ten crew members after the cargo ship went down roughly 90 nautical miles west of the island.

Cypriot authorities completed the rescue of all ten crew members aboard the merchant vessel AS DREAM after the ship sank approximately 90 nautical miles west of Cyprus, the Larnaca-based Joint Rescue Coordination Centre (JRCC) reported.
The vessel was sailing under the flag of Tanzania at the time of the incident. Following the sinking, the crew were initially recovered by the MSC Hannah III, a commercial vessel that responded to the distress situation. The survivors were subsequently transferred to the Pentadaktylos, a dedicated rescue boat operated by Cyprus's Port and Marine Police, which transported them safely to Limassol Port on the island's southern coast.
No casualties were reported among the ten crew members. The Joint Rescue Coordination Centre, headquartered in Larnaca, oversees maritime search and rescue operations across the search and rescue region assigned to Cyprus under international maritime conventions. The cause of the sinking had not been officially confirmed at the time of reporting.
