Ankara police raid entertainment venues exploiting foreign women

An operation was launched in Ankara against suspects identified as bringing foreign women into the country and illegally employing them in entertainment venues. A police operation resulted in the detention of 29 suspects.

Following investigations, 47 foreign nationals identified as victims were deported. Authorities have opened an investigation into charges of human trafficking and labor exploitation. According to Cumhuriyet Gazetesi, the detained suspects will be referred to prosecutors for legal proceedings.
