According to Anadolu Agency, the crash occurred when a private public bus bearing license plate 06 HO 1036 collided with an excavation truck bearing plate 06 FMV 326. The identities of the drivers have not yet been determined.
As a result of the impact, the bus careened and struck a parked truck from behind on the roadside. Following the report, emergency medical teams from 112 Emergency Health Services, gendarmerie, and AFAD were dispatched to the area. The injured were taken to nearby hospitals; one of the injured was reported to be in critical condition.
Temelli, located in the Sincan district of Ankara, is an industrial area; the Eskişehir Road in this section carries heavy truck traffic during morning and evening peak hours. Last year, a similar truck-bus collision on the same route resulted in 3 deaths.
