Arnavutköy-Halkalı Line Nearing Completion

Transport and Infrastructure Minister Abdulkadir Uraloğlu announced that testing and commissioning work on the Arnavutköy-Halkalı Line is approaching completion. Uraloğlu's remarks have brought expectations regarding the line's entry into service back into focus.

The Arnavutköy-Halkalı Line stands out as an important metro route that will connect Istanbul's northwestern and western shores to one another. Once completed, the line will provide a seamless rail connection from the Arnavutköy area to Halkalı, expanding Istanbul's existing metro network and significantly increasing public transportation options for residents in the region.

Testing and commissioning processes encompass mandatory technical stages required for a line to operate safely. Following completion of this process, the line is expected to be officially opened for passenger service. The project is regarded as part of comprehensive investments aimed at strengthening Istanbul's transportation infrastructure.
