Retirees to Receive at Least 24,000 Lira This Sunday

An important development has emerged in the payment schedule affecting millions of retired citizens. According to the timetable set by the Social Security Institution (SGK), payments to retirees will amount to at least 24,000 lira, with this week's transfer landing in accounts as of Sunday.

Monthly retirement pensions are the primary source of income for the vast majority of Turkey's retired population. Payments are regularly transferred to retirees' bank accounts on dates determined each month, with amounts updated periodically in line with inflation rates, wage adjustments, and prevailing economic conditions.

With Sunday's deposit, retirees will be able to start the week on solid financial footing. They can check and access their payments through their registered bank's mobile app or at a branch.
