Downpour disaster in Iğdır: Industrial zone submerged

Heavy rainfall that struck Iğdır at midday caused serious damage across the city. After sewer systems overflowed in the Small Industrial Zone, businesses were left inundated. In Karakuyu village, numerous homes and fields were flooded by the fast-moving waters. Rapidly rising flows spilled onto streets and roads, bringing daily life to a standstill. Authorities launched an on-site inspection in the affected areas. The flooding that followed the downpour also resulted in the loss of small livestock.
