Istanbul Water and Sewerage Administration (ISKI) announced that it will install flexible pipe connectors on the main water transmission line in Beykoz to increase resilience against earthquake risk. According to information, the planned outage will begin on Wednesday, August 12, 2026 at 22:00 and end on Thursday, August 13 at 08:00; the total duration is 10 hours.
Affected neighborhoods are: Bozhane, Öğümce, Göllü, Paşamandıra, Alibahadır, and Riva.
ISKI carried out the last major planned outage on the Beykoz line in 2024; at that time, repair work on the Elmalı dam line affected the northern slope of the district for 14 hours. In outlying neighborhoods like Riva, when network water supply is cut off, alternative water sources remain quite limited; ISKI recommends filling storage containers before the outage.
