INTERPOL-wanted murder suspect arrested in Antalya

Tunahan Çetkin, 29, a murder suspect wanted by INTERPOL and EUROPOL, was arrested and detained in Alanya, a district of Antalya. The suspect was the subject of an international wanted notice for murder, flagged via an INTERPOL diffusion notice.

A diffusion notice is an alert issued by INTERPOL to help member countries identify and locate persons of interest. Following his arrest, Çetkin was handed over to judicial authorities for questioning. Security forces said the suspect was tracked down through international cooperation during the operation.
