Worker Dies After Falling Into Elevator Shaft at 12-Story Building Site in Karaman

A worker, Mesut Yıldız (39), died after losing his balance and falling into an elevator shaft while working on the top floor of a 12-story apartment building under construction on 1038 Street in Hamidiye District of Karaman.

Following reports from other workers, health, fire, police, and AFAD teams were dispatched to the scene. The health team that arrived at the site confirmed that Yıldız had died at the location. The prosecutor conducted an investigation at the scene; Yıldız's body was transferred to the morgue at Karaman Training and Research Hospital for autopsy.
