Foundation Stone Laid for Yesevi Research Institute in Kazakhstan
Construction has begun on the Yesevi Research Institute at the campus of Khoja Ahmet Yesawi Kazakh-Turkish University in Kazakhstan, with support from Turkey.

A foundation stone ceremony was held for the Yesevi Research Institute at the campus of Khoja Ahmet Yesawi Kazakh-Turkish University in the historic city of Turkistan in Kazakhstan. The project, to be realized with Turkey's support, is seen as a concrete reflection of deep cultural and academic cooperation between the two countries.
Khoja Ahmet Yesawi Kazakh-Turkish University, established through Turkish-Kazakh partnership and one of Central Asia's important educational centers, aims to further expand its research capacity in Islamic thought and Turkish-Islamic cultural tradition with this new facility. The institute is expected to focus on academically examining the teachings of the great 12th-century Sufi poet Khoja Ahmet Yesawi, his literary legacy, and the Sufi tradition.
When the project is completed, the institute is expected to host regional and international researchers, thereby making significant contributions to Turkish-world academic circles. This initiative is also drawing attention for strengthening cultural diplomacy ties between Turkey and Kazakhstan.
