Jonathan Andic, vice chairman of Spanish fashion company Mango, has announced he is stepping down from his board role amid a homicide investigation, Business of Fashion reported.
Andic is the son of Mango founder Isak Andic and co-owns the Barcelona-based fashion group alongside his two siblings. In a statement, he described his departure from the vice chairman position as momentary, signalling his intention to return to the role once circumstances allow.
Mango is one of Spain's largest and most internationally recognised fashion retailers, operating thousands of stores across more than 100 countries. The company has not announced a replacement for Andic's board seat on an interim basis, according to the report.
The investigation marks a significant moment for the family-controlled brand, which has been expanding aggressively in recent years. Business of Fashion, which first reported the development, did not provide further details on the nature or status of the homicide investigation at the time of publication.
