Pastore was found dead at his home in the Bronx, New York City; police found no indication of criminality.

Vincent Pastore, the US actor best known for playing Salvatore "Big Pussy" Bonpensiero in the hit TV series The Sopranos, has died aged 80, the BBC reported, citing several US outlets.
Pastore was found at his home in the Bronx, New York City. CBS News, the BBC's US partner, reported there was no indication of criminality.
In The Sopranos, Pastore played Tony Soprano's best friend, who became an FBI informant. His character's death in series two was described as one of the show's most memorable storylines.
Pastore's manager Robert Attermann told CBS News: "To the world, he will always be remembered as the unforgettable 'Big Pussy', but to those of us who knew him, he was so much more." Attermann added that Pastore "loved being an actor" and was "encouraging, respectful, and generous with young actors."
