Ouzgor Ouziel: List of 80-85 People in Funds File Worth $124 Billion Held by Erdogan
YENİ Party Leader Demands Erdogan Reveal Names, Speaks of 60 Suspected Deputies
YENİ Party leader Ouzgor Ouziel called on President Erdogan to personally disclose a list comprising 80 to 85 people suspected of involvement in a funds case valued at $124 billion, affirming that the list is available to the Justice and Development Party including national ID numbers.
The statements came during an interview on SÖZCÜ TV conducted by journalists Senem Tuluay Ilgaz, Barış Terkoglu, and Aslı Kurtulus Mutlu, in which Ouziel, responding to a question about the names in the investigation, said: "We are not hiding the names, but it is correct that Erdogan announce them one by one—he is the one who has the correct list."
Ouziel added, responding to a question about factions within the Justice and Development Party regarding these funds, that he cannot explicitly disclose the names, but he pointed out that "there is a high-level bureaucracy very close to Erdogan: the Justice Ministry and the Justice Minister," clarifying that there is a team coming from Istanbul working to entrench authority through slander, and it opposes everyone without conscience or mercy.
Ouziel indicated that it is said that approximately 60 deputies or those close to them are directly connected to these funds or through intermediary accounts, in addition to former ministers.
