Bus and truck collide in Ankara's Temelli: 2 dead, 25 injured

After the impact, the bus veered off the road and struck a parked truck from behind — in an accident on the Eskişehir Road in Ankara's Temelli district, 2 people died and 25 were injured.

According to Anadolu Agency, the accident occurred when a private public bus bearing license plate 06 HO 1036 collided with an excavation truck bearing plate 06 FMV 326. The drivers' identities have not yet been determined.

From the force of the collision, the bus veered and struck a truck parked on the side of the road from behind. Following the report, emergency medical services, gendarmerie, and AFAD teams were dispatched to the area. The injured were taken to nearby hospitals; one of the injured was reported to be in serious condition.

Temelli is an industrial district attached to Ankara's Sincan district; the Eskişehir Road in this section carries heavy truck traffic during morning and evening hours. Last year, a similar truck-bus collision on the same route resulted in 3 deaths.
